Allen John Records
July 5, 1931 - June 27, 2015
Allen John Records - Buhl, passed away at home from natural causes on June 27, 2015.
Allen, known to many as "Al", was born in Caldwell, Idaho to John and Leona Records on July 5, 1931. He attended school in Caldwell; after graduation he joined the Military and served his country in the Military Band and as a Military Police. Both of which were his passion and love. Later he was a member of the Idaho National Guard.
He was married to his one true love Mary Shizuko for 52 years. They raised their family in the Caldwell area. He was a detective for the City of Caldwell for 17 years and owned and operated the A & W Drive In. Moving to Cascade, Idaho he served as Chief of Police for 7 years. He and Mary also owned the M & M Cafe. Upon retirement they moved to Buhl to be closer to family and just enjoy life.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife (Mary) and daughter Kathy.
He is survived by three sons; Curtiss Records of Cascade, Kenneth Records of Buhl and Bert Miyoshi of Fort Hall. Seven Grandchildren; Christina Miyoshi, Brandy (Greg) Mason, Cathleen Records, Tressa Records, Christopher Records, Melony Records and Micelle Records. Also by 17 beautiful great grandchildren.
Dad (Grandpa) you will be missed but we know you are at peace with Mom (Grandma) and Kathy.
A graveside service will be in the future at Hillcrest Cemetery in Nampa. Cremation was under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl.
