Ashlynn K. Husak
August 21, 1996 - June 13, 2015
Ashlynn Husak, 18, of Caldwell, passed away tragically from injuries received in a car accident on Saturday, June 13, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Her ashes will be laid to rest immediately following at Marsing Homedale Cemetery. A picnic will be held at Memorial Park in Caldwell, ID following burial. Everyone is welcome.
Ashlynn was a special person who lived life on her own terms and marched to the beat of her own drum. Anyone who was fortunate enough to take the time to get and know her was amazed by her uniqueness and caring nature.
She was born Aug 21, 1996 to Crystal Husak and Gerald Feil Jr. At five years old she came to live with her grandparents Dan and Karen Smede of Caldwell. To say the very least, there were many challenges, but it was mixed with a huge abundance of love that will last through eternity.
Ashlynn loved swimming, being around people, and was always ready for a good time. Family was very important to her as were her friends and mentors. One of her passions was singing in the choir at Vallivue High School where she graduated with honors in the spring of 2014. She forged many friendships with teachers and counselors who helped her to navigate through her teenage years. She loved the Lord and was always seeking His love and grace. This helped her through many rough times.
After graduation she enrolled at BSU and transferred to TVCC in the spring of 2015 to study early childhood development.
She recently became engaged to Jon Alger of Caldwell, ID. whom she considered her soul mate and love of her life. We will always be grateful to Jon for providing her the understanding and unconditional love that she so earnestly sought. She was in a very happy and peaceful stage of her life.
She recently found the relationship with her mother that always seemed to elude her. They loved each other very much. She loved her father very much and spent happy times with him every weekend.
She is survived by her parents, Gene and Crystal Odren of Caldwell, her father, Gerald Feil Jr. of Boise; her sister, Emmaleigh Foust of Caldwell; brothers, Gene and Mason Odren of Nampa; her grandparents, Dan and Karen Smede of Caldwell and Gerald and Charlene Feil of Boise; her fiancée Jon Alger of Caldwell; and a special friend Kimber Cheney of Greenleaf.
Our precious sweetheart, we will always remember and miss your beautiful smile and quirky ways. We respected your tenacity and uniqueness that got you through this life. Please save a place for us in heaven until we can all be together again. Rest in peace in God's arms until that time.
Love and kisses our sweet Ashey,
Gramp and Gram, Mom and Dad
