GRANGEVILLE: Betty R. Rutledge 86 of Grangeville formerly of Middleton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home in Grangeville.
Betty was born April 25, 1928 in Leadville, Colorado. She started school at Leadville Grade School in Colorado. At age 9 her family moved to Caldwell, Idaho. She married Glenn Rutledge September 25, 1946 at Caldwell. She worked many years in between Caldwell and Nampa in the medical field. They moved to Grangeville in 2005.
She was a member of the Baptist Church in Middleton.
She enjoyed sewing, handcrafts and spending time with family.
She is survived by one sister, Phyliss Bidiman of Boise, three daughters, Karen (David) Jarolimek of Grangeville, Lea (Chuck) Russell of Nashville, TN, and Toni (Brett) Jacobsen of Clackamas, OR, eleven grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Rutledge, a daughter Sharla Wagner, and grandchildren Raylene Russell, Brett Jarolimek and Mark Jarolimek, sisters, Francis Baines, Margie Himan and Evelyn Williams and brothers, R. B. Baines, Joe Baines and John Baines.
A graveside inurnment will be held at Middleton Cemetery at a later date.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Syringa Hospital Hospice.
