Brenden James Pendleton
December 28, 1980 - April 17, 2016
Brenden James Pendleton, 35, of Albany, OR, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed on April 17, 2016 in an accident near Eugene, OR.
Brenden was born December 28, 1980 in Nampa, ID to Tracy Pendleton and Cathie (Kirk) Pendleton (Hansen), the first of three children. Brenden was enamored with all things automotive from a very early age, able to describe the make and model of a car by the sound of the engine even as a small child. He was a caring and protective older brother, always looking out for his siblings who were a few years younger whenever he could. He always tried to teach them to be tougher, and more adventurous. To be fearless, but learn from his examples. He was a pioneer, always ready to explore uncharted territories and expand horizons for everyone. His exuberant charisma and personality could enchant a whole room or a single person, and few were immune to his charm. He loved his family with his whole heart, including his wide circle of friends who became like family. He greeted fatherhood so enthusiastically and his children were first and foremost, a constant presence in his heart. He delighted in their early years, and being a part of their lives every minute that he could. It's a certainty that if he had only one wish, it would have been for more time with them.
As an artist he started with what he loved, drawing cars, and continued on to become skilled in a wide variety of media, including photography, painting, and even tattooing; with both of his younger siblings, his girlfriend, and numerous friends sporting tattoos of his creation. He even tattooed himself extensively, adding to the growing collection of artwork on his own skin with his own hands. He enjoyed expressing himself with his clothing and his body, and loved looking good and feeling fresh at all times.
Brenden is preceded in death by his grandfather and his wife, James E. and Wilma Pendleton, and cousin Andrew Ware. He is survived by his father, Tracy Pendleton, mother and step-father Cathie (Louie) Hansen, his younger sister and brother-in-law, brother, and half-sister, Airielle (Evan) Ellis, Ben Pendleton, and Jaden Bostrom, his children, Kaidence Pendleton, Kaileigh Pendleton, Tommy Rogers, and Bentley Pendleton, his ex-wife KaroLynn Burton-Pendleton, and girlfriend Terri Rogers, his grandparents Julie Ausbun, Carolyn and Jim Davis, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were as much a part of his family as his blood relatives. Though Brenden has passed on from this plane, and onto that of other loved ones who are missed every day, he will continue on with us in the vibrant memories he left in all of our hearts.
Services to be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 404 Nectarine St., Nampa Idaho, Thursday April 28th at 2:00 P.M.
