Carl Eugene Anglin
May 26, 1940 - June 20, 2016
Carl E. Anglin, 76 of Nampa, Idaho went to be with his Lord on June 20, 2016 after succumbing to a heart attack while doing what he loved most, fishing with his family.
He was born in Twin Falls, ID on May 26, 1940 to Adeline R. Trees and Clarence M. Anglin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and rockhounding. He would never miss an opportunity to go out with his family or friends to enjoy what the world had to offer.
He loved to garden and try out nontraditional seeds and heirloom plant varieties. He always had an abundance of fruits and vegetables to share.
He was a generous man and gave freely to all, without expectation. There wasn't a home, yard, or garden project he was unwilling to help out with. A simple phone call and he was there. He never missed a birthday, graduation, or chance to be with his family.
In his eyes his greatest accomplishment and source of pride was his three children, Laura L. Anglin, Clarence J. Anglin, Teresa M. Anglin-Bode, and his grandchild Joshua D. Bode. He never missed an opportunity to let them know how proud he was of all of them. He will be missed more than he will ever know.
A private service was held on June 25, 2016. You may pay your respects by visiting his final resting place in the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery.
Words cannot express our gratitude for the selfless and heroic actions of Anthony Bess, Daniel Bess, and Nikita Stone in rescuing our Dad from the water, and to Monty Bess for guiding emergency responders.
We would also like to say a very special thank you to the Hagerman, ID Emergency Response team and the Twin Falls, ID Life Flight. We appreciate you fighting for our Dad as if he were your own.
