D'Arcy Woolson Orde
D'Arcy Woolson Orde, oldest daughter of Helen and Markham Orde, passed away May 3. 2016. Her spiritual journey began with her baptism in the Presbyterian Church in Ohio and ended as an Episcopalian in Idaho in her 80th year. D'Arcy retired from her life-long passion of teaching in 2002 and moved to Idaho. One of the many highlights of her career as an educator was a year and a half teaching English in South Korea. Upon moving to Idaho she earned her Certificate for Ministry. She was particularly interested in Outreach Ministry. D'Arcy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and a niece. She is survived by three sisters, a niece, five nephews, and several great-nieces and one great nephew.
D'Arcy and her family would like to thank her physician, Dr. Cary Jackson, and West Valley Medical Hospital for their kind and supportive care of her during her illness. We are also grateful to the hospice team from Harrison's Hope for their dedication and compassion during the last five months. D'Arcy's choice for a memorial donation is St. David's Episcopal Church, 1800 Arlington Avenue, Caldwell, ID 83605, or Pet Haven Shelter, 333 W. Orchard Avenue, Nampa, ID 83651. A memorial service will be held May 15, 2016 at St. David's following the regular morning service at 11:45 A.M.
