Deeply saddened to hear of Darrell's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Ruthanne and the rest of the family. We have fond memories of Darrell and our friendship while our boys were in high school together. Darrell officiated our son's wedding twenty-five years ago. He was a kind, caring, and loving individual. He is missed by so many!

Darrell Beddoe conducted the funeral services for both my mom and dad-2005 and 2002 . Many people came up after the services and commented on the fact that he did such a personal and thorough job of relating the lives of my folks and in such a way that they wondered what church we all went to and thought they might join. My sister and I met with Rev. Beddoe just a couple of times before each one of their services, but couldn't believe the heart-felt eulogies he gave and the
the many people who asked and wondered how long we all had known him. He was a very special person and turned a very sorrowful time into a wonderful tribute of life. My condolences to all his family...he will always be remembered fondly.

Ruthanne, my heartfelt condolences for your loss and praises for who he was and where he is. The way he stood on the promises of God and loved people was always evident. I’ll always hold dear to my memories of him and you, especially the impact you both had on Mom and Dad. With love, Debby Peterson (Tracy Hudson’s sister).

I am very saddened that I will not get to see Darrell in person again but comforted knowing I will see him in heaven someday. I only knew Darrell for a short time while serving together on the Board of Trustees for Corban University. I leaned into him every time he spoke because of his amazing wisdom and passion for higher education and the university. He clearly loved others and showed compassion and empathy. He lived out his faith in so many ways. I was blessed to know Darrell and find peace that he is with his Savior.

Darrell was just a great man. Had the privilege of working alongside him for years helping grieving families while my wife and I operated Summers funeral home in Boise. Anytime we had a family that needed someone special to get them through, he was there. He had a fun side also and especially enjoyed his Christmas open house where you were greeted by the Xmas tree hanging from the ceiling! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Beddoe family and to let them know that he has left a little of himself in all of us. Regards, Dave and Robyn Yraguen

What a loss but safe in the arms of His Savior! A privilege knowing and serving with Darrel in many capacities but especially appreciative of his graciousness when speaking in his churches and willingness to assist as a member of Shepherds 'Advancement Committee' during an especially critical time. Always helpful, supportive and encouraging!!!

I have very fond memories of Darrell as he was my pastor during my middle school and high school years. Both he and Ruthanne worked tirelessly to not only pastor the church but the youth as well. They took extra special care to make sure my siblings and I were able to join in youth activities by giving us rides home and going the extra mile to keep tabs on us. He was a very loving, caring, and giving person. He will most certainly be missed, but I'm rejoicing that he now has his full reward.

I met Darrell at Summer Camp in July, 1950, and we continued our friendship through the next 70 years. Playing on the Lincoln High Basketball team together was a highlight. Our friendship continued through our adult lives as we served the Lord in many ways throughout the Northwest as pastors. I am honored to have been Darrell's friend for 70 years here and in heaven for eternity!

I met Darrell during the early organization of the Vista Neighborhood Association, in which he played a key leadership role. He could always be counted on to show up and to promote neighborly love and engagement. He was a fine, kind man with an easy and infectious laugh. The world is a bit dimmer without him.

Dave, seems your dad was a great man, with a very big heart. He raised some great kids as well! I feel honored to have gotten to know him just a bit and spend some time with him. We know he will be sorely missed here on earth, yet what a wonderful hope realizing it is not forever. The forever part will be when we are all reunited! Praise God! Praying for you guys, though, at this difficult time.
