Don Brown, 79, of Nampa, Idaho and of late Hall, Montana, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, Montana.
Don was born August 28, 1937 in Lyman, Nebraska, He was the first born of Glen H. and Ora Isabelle (Everhart) Brown. The family moved to Idaho when Don was a young boy, settling in the Kuna area.
Don married Brenda Kay Bruck on August 17, 1962 at Zion Lutheran Church in Nampa. They were blessed with one son, Cameron, born in November 1968.
Don was a saddle maker and leather worker at Nampa Saddle and Canvas. A leather salesman for Oregon Leather for over 30 years. He was also an all-around hand at Brenda's Painting Place. Don and Brenda enjoyed raising race horses and chariot racing right along side of Clarence, Brenda's father.
Don never met a stranger; he considered all his friends.
Don is survived by his son Cameron and his wife Sandy, step grandsons Lane, Logan and Jesse and one step great granddaughter, Khloe, His sister, Sherry L. Brown, sister-in-laws Billie and Jacque, special Aunt Eleanor Penny and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death was the love of his life, wife Brenda. His parents Glen and Ora, brothers Lawrence and Dennis.
A Celebration of Life is planned for June 3, 2017 at the Brown's home in Hall. Any donations can be made to the Drummond Senior Center, 54 E Broad St. Drummond, MT 59832.
