Donald LeRoy Endicott
June 6, 1928 - April 9, 2016
Donald L. Endicott, 87 of Middleton, ID went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was born in Caldwell, ID June 6, 1928 to Harvey and Emma Endicott. Don lived in Middleton, where he attended school and met his childhood sweetheart JoAn Myers. Don and JoAn were married July 12, 1947 and made their home in Middleton where they raised their three boys; Brett, Rod, and Mark. Don started working for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1951 and continued working there for 41 years before he retired. He was always involved in the community of Middleton. He was on the Cemetery Board for 31 years and worked with the City Council as well. Don enjoyed watching his boys play sports, then later his grandchildren and all of their activities. He loved reading his bible and spending time with his church family. His greatest love was JoAn; he was the happiest when she was by his side.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, Jesse, Bobbie, Jimmy; three sisters, Lavern, Helen and Doreen. He is survived by his wife JoAn; children, Brett (Maggie), Rod (Karen), Mark (Joan); grandchildren, Clint (Kelsey), Ryan (Jodi), Bridgit, Andrew (Michelle), Nathanael (Tiffany), Caleb and Rachel; great grandchildren, Wade, Blake, Bretlee, Toree and Charlotte.
Don was loved and will greatly be missed by his family and friends.
A viewing will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 15, 2016 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be sent to; First Baptist Church 108 E 1st N, Middleton, ID 83644. Condolences can be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
