Earl was born to Pete and Nancy Lowen in Cureall, Missouri on October 30, 1932. At 12 years of age he and his family moved to Wilder, Idaho where he met the love of his life Jean Kelley at Wilder High school, spending 62 years together. Earl was ordained as a minister in Darrington, Washington at First Southern Baptist Church and he served the Lord faithfully preaching the gospel throughout the Pacific Northwest, with the opportunity also to share Jesus Christ in Saudi Arabia, Jerusalem, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Peru. Earl was most passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and leading countless people into the forgiveness of sins that only Jesus offers through His death on the Cross and eternal life through His resurrection. He enjoyed preparing for his radio broadcasts on KBGN for many years with his friend and station owner Nels Wilson.
Earl is survived by his daughter Connie Waltman of Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and two sons Terry and David. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 28 great grand children, cousins, nieces and nephews and countless friends across the world.
The family wishes to thank First Southern Baptist Church and Calvary Chapel Caldwell for their compassion and support, Autumn Wind staff for their loving care and West Valley Medical Center for their compassion and excellent care during his acute illness.
