Funeral services for Elbert E. Luhr, 87, of Meridian, who died Monday, Jan.12, 2015, will be conducted at Ustick Baptist Church, 14301 W. McMillan Rd., Boise, ID at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 19th. Pastor Phil Moran will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Elbert was born June 4, 1927 in Caldwell, ID to Frank and Mildred Luhr. He was so precious there are no words to tell how much he touched the lives of every person he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mildred Luhr, his sister Phyllis Lyon, and his wife Ellen.
Elbert is survived by his brother Delmar, his 3 daughters and sons in law, Pam and Benny Greene, Kathy and Ted Hunt, and Vicki and Jerry Simmons; as well as 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
