Euladean "Dean" Fisher
March 1, 1927 - September 11, 2015
Euladean "Dean" Fisher, 88 of Parma, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2015. She was born on March 1, 1927 in Centralia, Oklahoma to Walton and Etta Orr. She was the 2nd of 9 children. She married Donald Fisher on Feb. 8, 1946 and they celebrated 63 years together before Donald's passing in 2009.
Dean was employed by Seely Super Thrift Drug in Parma for 26 years. She was an active member of the Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church.
Dean and Don enjoyed traveling in their motorhome. They found great pleasure in spending time at the cabin with family. Dean was very active and enjoyed snow skiing until in her 70's. She also like to water ski, fish, camp, hike, and walk. When she was home she loved to make clothes and quilts for her grandchildren, reading Danielle Steele books, and playing cards with her sisters. She always looked forward to fixing a Christmas dinner for the children and grandchildren. If there was a BSU game everyone knew where they would find her, she never missed a game.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dale Eugene; her husband, Donald Eugene; her parents, an infant brother; and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Doyle (Tammy) Fisher and Dennis (Vicki) Fisher; 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Kenneth Orr, Eugene Orr, and Vernon Orr; and 2 sisters, Veonne Murphy, and Donna Jefferies.
Mom (Dean) was much loved and will be missed greatly but we know she is in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17th at the Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
