Renie also served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) where she was given many opportunities to serve in the Relief Society presidency, secretary, and the Boise and Portland LDS Temples. She and Elden also spent two years as missionaries in Louisiana.
