Howard James Wilson
Howard J Wilson of Nampa, ID went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 19, 2016, at age 91. He was born in Drennan, Colorado to Frank and Emma Wilson, the youngest of five. Howard met his wife, Ardis in Colorado Springs and they married in 1949, enjoying 67 years of marriage. He worked as a postal carrier and did many odd jobs.
In 1965, Howard moved with his wife and children to Meridian to farm with his brother-in-law, Ed Good, forming G&W Rim Ranches in Melba.
Attending Berean Baptist Church (now New Hope) Howard faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher, Awana commander and choir member. Having a heart for missions, he and Ardis, from 1988-1993, went to Papua New Guinea to run a guest house for New Tribes Missions, making it possible for missionary families to have a break from jungle life.
Howard was preceded in death by his son, David. He is survived by his wife, Ardis; daughters Judy Marz (Bud) and Barbara Bull (Terry); sons Paul Wilson (Belinda) and Dan Wilson (Kristin); 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
