Jerry Lee Padilla, Sr.
April 30, 1941 - January 2, 2017
In loving memory of Jerry Lee Padilla, Sr.
Jerry was born in Parma, Idaho to Dionisio Padilla and Wanda Collins on April 30, 1941. He passed quickly from heart complications on Jan. 2, 2017 in San Tan Valley, Arizona.
He is survived by his mother Wanda Collins, Step-mother Jovie Padilla, three brothers, Ronnie, Johnny, Danny, and two sisters Glenda Zimmerman and Juanita Wong. Jerry had three sons Jerry Jr., Johnny, Brian, and two daughters Dawn and Magdalina Sierra, three grandchildren Derra, Kaleb, and Armando (Joe). He was married to Shirley Hoskins until they separated in 1987. He later married Jan Comb-Brown. When that marriage ended he moved to Arizona where he reconnected with Shirley and continued close with her for the remaining years of his life. In Arizona he spent his days golfing and hunting every chance he could. He was blessed to spend many of his summers back in Idaho where he enjoyed fishing with family and friends.
He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, tender heart, and ability to make anyone smile.
A memorial will be held in Parma, Idaho later this year.
