Joan (Joanne) M Van Cleave
September 10, 1929 - May 13, 2018
Joan passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born to Floyd and Imogene Kelly on September 10, 1929 in Olean, New York. After graduating from high school, she moved to California and met "Van", who was in the Marine Corp. at Camp Pendleton. They married after a three month courtship in 1949 and were married for sixty-eight years. Joan was an active member at Southside Methodist Church in Nampa, Idaho. She is survived by two sons, Ron Van Cleave (Connie) and Don Van Cleave (Kris) and daughter, Cathi Roberts, two grandsons, Kyle Van Cleave (Ellen) and Kelly Van Cleave (Lindsey) along with two great grandchildren Owen and Charlotte Van Cleave. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Methodist Church, 5420 Southside Blvd., Nampa, ID 83686 Memorial gifts/donations may be sent to Southside Methodist Church, Nampa, Idaho 83686.
