On January 28, 2016 John Allen Wright was honorably discharged from this life after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was born in Twin Falls on March 5,1947 to Ralph and Betty Wright. The family lived in Murtaugh until moving to Caldwell in 1950. There the family farmed on a 160 acre homestead. John was educated in Notus and graduated in 1965.

In 1984 John joined the Idaho Air National Guard and retired after 18 years in 2002. While in the Air Guard John participated in Desert Storm and Operation Nobel Anvil.
John's greatest joy came from working with his hands. He was a masterful craftsman, welder, mechanic and he had an incredible imagination.
