Jose Luis Rodriguez Rios, 22 of Caldwell, passed in a fatal automobile accident on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Services will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday evening, March 25th at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
Jose 'Topo' was born November 10, 1993 in Dallas, Texas, to Victoria Chavero and Israel Chavero. He was always outgoing, daring and adventurous. He was so helpful and kind to others. He was always joking and being a clown, trying his best to make others laugh.
Jose fell in love with Destyne Martinez in high school. They have a wonderful, beautiful daughter named Evolen Ocean Rios. Jose loved each and every member of his family. He was a friend, nephew, brother, son and loving father.
Jose was employed by Crookham Seed Company for several years. He was a great worker and knew many trades, from flooring to how to add stucco onto a house. These traits and skills were taught by a very important person in his life, his father Israel Chavero.
Jose is survived by his parents, Victoria and Israel Chavero; daughter, Evolen Ocean Rios and girlfriend, Destyne Martinez; brother, Frank Hernandez, Jr. and his children, Annabelle & Christopher; sister, Elesia Hernandez and her children, Lysandra & Jeremiah; brother, Ramon Cruz; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosie Eglesia; and great-grandparents, Lorenzo Sr. and Felicitas.
