She grew up in Mesquite, Nevada. On October 13, 1945 Antone Terry and Marian "eloped" to Las Vegas, NV (accompanied by Marian's mother who signed consent because Marian was only 16 years old). They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple for time and eternity. They were married 54 years and were blessed with seven children. They moved to Idaho in 1951 and settled in Nampa. She enjoyed quilting and made quilts for each of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, camping and reading. Marian had a large garden which was used for canning and sharing with others. She worked at Birds Eye in Nampa for many years. Marian's family was important to her and she spent many hours watching and enjoying her grandchildren.
Marian was devoted to living the gospel of Jesus Christ and had many callings including working in the genealogy extraction program, teaching and serving two missions with her husband, Antone. She loved to serve others.
Antone died June 4, 2000. In 2008 Marian met W. Eugene Loosli in the ice cream aisle at Walmart. They were married October 5, 2008 when Marian was 79 years old and Gene was 82. Gene blessed Marian's final years with devoted companionship. Marian and Gene loved to look for new things on their daily ride and watch old TV shows.
