Mary Jeannette Borders
May 18, 1937 - April 9, 2015
Mary Jeannette Borders, 77, of Nampa, Idaho entered into rest on Thursday, April 9, 2015, of natural causes at Kindred Care Center in Nampa, Idaho. Graveside Memorial Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, and will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
Mary was born in Sedalia, MO, on May 18, 1937 to James T. and Erma Edmundson. She was raised on a farm near Sedalia, MO. She graduated from Smith Cotton High School in 1955, and went on to graduate from Central MO State in 1956. On August 16, 1959 she married the love of her life Merrill J. Borders of Jordan Valley, OR; where they lived on the family ranch for many years until they made their home in Caldwell, Idaho. Later, she worked for Vallivue School District as a Librarian, and retired in 2001 from the Caldwell Public Library. She loved to read, do jigsaw puzzles, and many crafts.
Mary is survived by her son Eric J. Borders and wife Michelle A. Borders, two granddaughters Candace and Haley; one grandson Tyler, one sister-in-law; Margaret Lincoln and 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Merrill J. Borders.
