Nancy Earle Benjamin
Nancy Benjamin was born in Burley, Idaho on May 4, 1942 to Bert and Pearl Ingram. She entered Heaven's gates on January 13, 2013 with her family by her side. Nancy was born into a large family, having three brothers and seven sisters. She was a sweet, loving child, and she loved all her brothers and sisters and her mother and dad. She was kind and unselfish.
Nancy married Leighton Benjamin 52 years ago, and they did everything together: worked, played, traveled, and created a family consisting of three sons, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her family was her whole life and she gave her whole heart to it. She also had many friends, and will be sorely missed by everyone. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and friend, Nancy was a hard worker. She worked in the fields, waited tables at Honker's in Nampa, and was a nurse's aide at Mercy Hospital. She worked side by side with her husband in their family business, Benjamin's Rural Disposal, for 38 years.
After retirement a few years back, she and Leighton spent quality time with their grandchildren, attending their sporting events. They went on vacation to Lake Powell with family, and loved going to their cabin in Cascade.
Nancy is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Leighton Benjamin; their three sons; Larry (Beverly), Earle (Theresa), and Stan (Kathie); 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and four sisters; Russel, Anne, Mary Celia, Sherman, LaNeva, and Cristene. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, three sisters and a brother.
Nancy treated everyone like family. She had such a generous heart, always had a smile on her face, and never complained. She has left us with many wonderful memories. WE LOVE YOU, MOM.
