Robbie Jean Durbin

Robbie Jean Durbin 81 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Robbie was born to Lewis and Dorothy Taylor December 17, 1934 in Cheyenne, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis 94' and Dorothy 06'. She moved to Nampa in 1972 and shortly thereafter began teaching 3rd grade at Melba Elementary where she taught for 28 years. She was very involved in ministry at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene including leading the singles group and divorce recover for over 25 years. She is survived by her brothers; Carl (Marlys) Taylor; Chuck (Jean) Taylor; her 4 sons Jeff (Lori) Durbin; Matthew (Pam) Durbin; Todd Durbin; Scott (Michele) Durbin; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends can pay their respects from 10:00-10:45 with a memorial service starting at 11:00, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made in her name to Hands of Hope Northwest, 1201 S Powerline Rd, Nampa, ID 83686 in Nampa.
