Sharon Elaine Coates
May 29, 1954 - November 29, 2016
Sharon Elaine Coates was born into this world on May 29, 1954 in Ontario, Oregon and sadly departed this world on November 29, 2016 to spend eternity with her mother and father in heaven. She will surely be missed because she brought joy and happiness to many people. Her early years were spent on a ranch on Little Willow Creek outside of Payette. Later in life she was moved to the State School and Hospital in Nampa due to her down syndrome that she was unfortunately diagnosed. Her mother and father supported her with love and affection. She later lived with various care givers throughout her adult life. She knew only the language of love and was surrounded by the love of her care giver family till the end of her life. Her parents, Ralph and Mabel Coates and grandparents Albert and Hazel Coates and Nelson and Lilly McCullough have since passed onto the house of our Lord. She is survived by her two loving brothers, Thomas and his wife Linda Coates of Boise, and Duane Coates of Meridian as well as a nephew, niece and several cousins. For those who remain on this earth and continue our labors, the world seems a lonelier place by her passing to the spiritual plane. The brothers appreciate the care received from both Deborah O'Hara and Kathryn Healy both of Nampa who provided care and housing shelter for Sharon in her later years and to Jenny Clemens who was Sharon's case worker. Her brothers request that flowers and memorials be sent to the Nampa Funeral Home. The Family will greet Family and friends at a visitation at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Noon and a committal service at the Riverside Cemetery in Payette, Idaho.
