Stephena Theresa Nagelmueller Yuen, 41 of Caldwell, left our beautiful world to return to the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. A visitation will held in remembrance of Steph from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, August 21st at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. A Texas BBQ to celebrate Steph's life will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Caldwell Memorial Park in the Bandshell. Friends are welcome at attend either or both.
Steph was born in Victoria, Texas on October 22, 1973 to Louis P. and Dorothy M. (Konecny) Nagelmueller, joining her three siblings, Butch, John and Patty. She was raised and educated in Texas, graduating from Hallettsville High School. She continued her education at Boise State where she earned her Associates degree in Business.
Steph married the love of her life, Buddy Joe Yuen, on July 26, 1996 at their home in Caldwell. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Jessica and Justin. She adored spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Steph was happiest when they all were camping, hunting, and fishing or spending any quality time with her family. She also enjoyed wood burning, crocheting and other crafts.
Steph's love of life and family was apparent daily by her kind heart, generosity, sincerity and honesty. She was always available to anyone in need. Her gracious heart will be always remembered and deeply missed by all of those who knew her.
Steph is survived by her husband, Buddy of Caldwell; their daughter, Jessica (fiancé, Doug Claus) Yuen of Corpus Christie, TX; their son, Justin (Ashley Sarceda) Yuen of Caldwell; two grandchildren, Noah and Alyviuh; her mother, Dorothy Nagelmueller of TX; brothers, Butch and John Nagelmueller; sister, Patty Hudson; and numerous family members that meant the world to Steph.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Paul Nagelmueller, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Jesse D. Yuen.
Buddy would like to thank Dr. Nelson, Dr. Walker and St. Al's 5th Floor nursing team for the care that they showed both he and Steph during their difficult struggle.
In the last months of Steph's life, she found great comfort with the Christian Crusaders; memorials may be made in her memory at www.christiancrusaders.org
