Susan Jane Wulff
August 9, 1945 - August 18, 2016
Her favorite phrase to say to those she loved was "Love you more!" With her capacity to love, as her child, sibling, spouse, or even in-law no one could argue she loved them less than they loved her. Our beloved Susan Jane Wulff, born August 9th, 1945 in Watertown, S.D. as one of 11 children, taught those around her the beauty of kindness and love. She married Phillip Sheridan Wulff Sr. on November 27th, 1963 and celebrated her 52nd wedding anniversary with him last year. After moving to 9 different states, they settled in Emmett, ID where she passed away on August 18, 2016 in her home surrounded by family.
Over the last two years Susan battled cancer and during that time she taught her friends, husband, 2 sons, 3 daughters and 13 grandchildren the meaning of enduring to the end with a full measure of happiness, optimism and love. Not only did her love abide deeply for those around her, but also for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She served many years as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where the her services will be held this Tuesday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmett LDS Stake Center, 980 W. Central Road in Emmett, ID. Burial will follow in the Emmett Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
She was the grandmother any grandchild would love to have. She spent time with her grandchildren playing games in the winter and driving them around the yard in her tractor lawn mower trailer in the summer. She taught her children the love of work, as she was never afraid to tackle a task at hand. She was the mother who always felt sad at the close of summer to have her children return to school. She blessed our lives in so many ways and for that we will be eternally grateful. Until we meet again Mom, "Love you more!"
