Theodore Edward "Ted" Hogan
December 19, 1962 - July 7, 2017
Ted Hogan was born on December 19, 1962 to Ed and Phyllis Hogan in Boise Idaho. He passed away the morning of July 7, 2017 in Meridian, Idaho.
Ted was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Ted went to Lowell Elementary School, North Jr. High School and graduated from Boise High School in 1981. He went on to graduate from Idaho State University with an associate's degree in diesel mechanics. He finished his career in trucking and construction at Idaho Traffic Control LLC as a flagger.
Ted had been a member of the Elks Lodge in Nampa, Idaho for several years. He loved hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Ted is survived by his mother, Phyllis Hogan; his sisters, Debbie Wood, Peggy Daniels, Judy Jordan and her husband Randy Jordan. He is also survived by one nephew, five nieces, two great-nieces, and two great- nephews. In addition, he is survived by his special friends Larry and Shelly Jenkins and their family. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Ed Hogan and all of his grandparents.
Services will be held on 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Graveside services will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. An online guest book is available at
