Violet Juanita Prince
February 6, 1917 - December 31, 2014
Violet Juanita Warner Prince, 97, was called to her eternal home on December 30th 2014. She was born to Henry Clay and Beulah Warner on February 6, 1917 in Ketchum, Oklahoma. Violet was a fixture in the town of Wilder, ID by virtue of living right there at 507 Prince Ave. for over 76 years in the home her and Frank built. She has been known as "The Prayer Warrior". Violet has always been a person of faith. Frank taught it. Violet believed it. Nothing was more important to her than her family and faith.
Violet was a kind, loving pastor's wife and a true "Princess" in her time.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Shannon Prince and her four great- grandchildren: Daniel Lowry, Josiah Prince, Gidion Prince, Shanea Lafferty and five great- great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Franklin Prince, her only child David Lee Prince, her only grandson David Scott Prince, her parents, her friends and only sibling.
A viewing will be held, Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Funeral services will held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.
All are invited to a celebration of life, get together (pot luck) at the Free Holiness Church Annex on Prince Ave. following the services.
The granddaughter, Shannon Prince, would like to thank Horizon Hospice staff, which was there for us more than their jobs required. Through grandfather's & grandmother's care, you have loved us; you have taken care of us. I can't find the words to thank Stephanie Silence RN and Anne Scherrer MSW. You two have the most beautiful hearts GOD has ever brought this family!!
Condolences to Violet's family may be sent to
