William E. Little

William E. "Bill" Little
Bill Little of Caldwell, Id was born November 9, 1948 to Walter and Evelyn Little and passed away suddenly from a heart attack on October 15, 2015. Bill grew up in New Plymouth, ID and graduated from New Plymouth High School. Bill loved sports and particularly excelled at basketball. He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. Bill went to the University of Idaho for both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor degree. He was a proud Idaho Vandal and a proud member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Bill cherished his friends, especially his Sigma Chi brothers with whom he had planned a hunting trip to Nebraska the end of October.
Bill spent his career as an attorney in a variety of capacities. Two of his private practice law offices were with two of his best friends. First, David Wishney, who was also one of Bill's lifelong fishing buddies. Many days were spent fishing for anything from marlin to trout. Later Bill and Don Lassaw partnered for many years as Lassaw and Little Law Offices. Bill also spent many years as a City Attorney for Boise. Bill had many other business interests from farming to car lots. He always had multiple business deals going.
Talking about Bill's life would not be complete without mentioning card games. He loved to play cards, and poker and gin were two of his favorites. Bill also loved to golf and spent many hours on golf courses around the valley.
Bill is survived by his older brother, Rob Little (Mary) and their three daughters (Erica, Andrea and Robin) and younger sister Anne Roberts (Doug) and their son (Nick). Bill is survived by many, many dear friends - too numerous to name.
An open house in Bill's honor will be held at Ridge Crest Golf Course, Saturday November 28 from 5 to 8 pm. Friends are welcome to drop by any time. At 6:00 pm we will have a toast to Bill's life. A second celebration will be held in the spring in New Plymouth.
