As you know we Named our oldest Boy after your Husband, "Travis Vaughn" and are very proud of him as he lives out his Christian life. We knew that a name is very important & " Vaughn " was a good start now he is raising his family in a Godly way.
We really enjoyed Marshall as our Pastor and know GOD was pleased with his life & now he is enjoying his reward.
GOD bless you and your Family in this time of remembering his life. Have a great day in knowing Gods plan for his life is now complete.
Love
Lucy & Norman

Pastor Vaughn was my youth pastor at Delta Church of the Nazarene. We were just a little church but He made sure that we did some fun activities and knew that God loved us. I remember we were on a hayride at one of the farmer's houses one autumn. I had never been on a hayride so, I didn't exactly know what to expect. The hayride was going along nicely and then he decided that it might be fun to have a scarecrow on the ride with us. Before I knew what was happening, he had them all stuffing me with straw! I was this bashful skinny liitle teenager that loved to stay in the background. It was so much fun and I think that was the first time that I felt like I was accepted. It felt so good until I was unstuffed and developed a rash everywhere. I remember calamine lotion and baths with something in the water to help the itch. It didn't matter that we were the poor kids. He just loved us. I will miss him.

Marshall Vaughn was the first person who evidently saw some leadership potential in me as a young teenager at Church of the Nazarene in Delta, CO. I am forever grateful to him, and offer my sincerest sympathy to Roberta and family. May God's great grace sustain you during these difficult days.
