Robert "Bob" L. Gerdes
August 21, 1935 - September 5, 2013
Bob Gerdes, 78, of Caldwell, local Idaho artist, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, September 5th, 2013. He is survived by his wife Emy Gerdes, three children Kelly (Bob) Nahas, Ben Gerdes and Shawn (Brittany) Gerdes, grandchildren: Jami Rapacon and Grant (Melissa) Rapacon, and great-grandchildren: Devin and Porter, and sisters-in-law, Ila Gerdes and Jean Gerdes. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Mable (Shane) Gerdes, brothers; Don and Duane Gerdes.
Bob was well known for his metal sculptures, which he made for over 50 years.
Bob's memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences for the family may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.

You all have my deepest condolences, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a great & very giving man, he will be missed by so many people. The world just lost a great friend.
