What a beautiful service remembering Sue. She was such a huge part of Stony Creek and such an inspiration to our son Trevor. When he was a kindergartner she really got him hooked on books and reading and to this day he is an avid reader. His first two books he bought at his first book fair ar Stony Creek were Heckedy Peg and The Cobweb Christmas. When I taught at Stony I would always share these two books with my 1st graders and since I have retired I continue to share them when I substitute teach. Every time I read them I think of Sue.
Today Trevor sent me a message about Sue and said I remember her being very warm and caring lady. She was really wise and passionate about reading. She also touched our daughter Madi during her last few years at Stony. Our family was lucky to have her as a positive teacher to two of our three children.
