Sharline Gail Close, 74, passed away surrounded by her family in Meridian, Idaho on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from multiple myeloma. She was born December 4, 1944 in Tacoma, WA to Fred and Leta (Phillips) Bartlett. She grew up in Parkland, WA and met the love of her life, Dennis W. Close, while they were working at JCPenney. They married on May 3, 1969. They lived in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, California and Idaho. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and six grandchildren. She was everything to everyone and did everything with such precision and flair. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Bartlett and stepmother, Arlene (Sewalson) Bartlett. She is survived by her spouse, Dennis W. Close, by her daughter, Denise (Martin) Iversen and their children Christina, Olivia, and William of Gig Harbor, WA, her daughter, Christine (Nicholas) Kukoski and their children Gavin, Jillian and Jacob of Meridian, ID, her mother, Leta Bartlett of Federal Way, WA and her sister, Sherry (Craig) Sparks of Puyallup, WA. At her request, no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers please consider making donation to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, All4Cure or your favorite charity.

Sharline was such a lovely and beautiful lady, but with a wicked sense of humor. She was so sweet and treated me like her own daughter, and I adored her. My heart is absolutely broken for her family. Heaven has gained another angel.
