Linda Mae (Gant) Phillips, 63, of Lewiston, ID and formerly of Caldwell, ID passed away March 2, 2018 at her Lewiston home surrounded by her family. Linda was born July 31, 1954 in Boise, ID to Alvin & Dolores (Costello) Gant. She grew up and attended Boise schools graduating from Boise High School. Linda married Lawren Harper and they moved to Albion, WA in the early 80's where they made their home. She managed the North Campus Heights apartment complex in Pullman during that time. Lawren and Linda later divorced. Linda married Jerry Phillips in Albion, WA where they made their home, later moving to the Treasure Valley living in Middleton, ID and later settling in Caldwell, ID. In the fall of 2017 Linda and Jerry moved to Lewiston, ID to be closer to family. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter & friend. She so cherished time spent with her family. Time with her grandchildren was ever so important to her. Linda held a special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and so loved the outdoors especially time spent fishing and camping with her family as well as gambling trips to Jackpot, NV. Linda loved animals, being in the sunshine and hot tubs. She enjoyed baking cookies, cakes and candy. Linda was a devoted Boise State University Bronco fan as well as a passionate New England Patriot fan. Linda is survived by her husband Jerry at their Lewiston, home; her son Russell Harper (Megan Warnock) of Clarkston; her daughter Alecia Harper-Rongey (Donovan Rongey) of Walla Walla; her seven grandchildren Tycie, Parker, Kylie, Averie, Emilee, Garret & Wyatt; father Alvin Gant (Vera) and her siblings Jill, Carol, Debbie, Jack, Rick, Kenny & Kelly. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Turner. Memorial celebrations for Linda are planned for Lewiston and Boise when the weather warms up as she so enjoyed being outdoors. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations in Linda's memory are suggested to the Special Olympics.
