Ronald Dwain Warzeka
1935 - 2017
Ronald Dwain Warzeka, 81, passed away June 7, 2017 in Boise. He lived a long and full life. Ron was born December 24, 1935 in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from High School there and then went on to Montana State University (MSU). While at MSU, he married his High School sweet heart, Marian Kay Muir. They had three children and later divorced in 1978. Ron was a great football player from his youth. He played high school, college and professional football as a defensive lineman. Ron was an All-American at MSU and played on the original Oakland Raiders football team in 1960. Due to an injury, Ron retired from football and began a career working in the tire industry with General Tire. He was the manager of the General Tire Store in Boise before he returned to Bozeman in 1984 with his wife Carole where he worked for Jerry Noble Tires and Whalen Tire. Ron returned to Boise in 2010 to be near family. Ron also served his country in the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Alphonsus and Lillian Warzeka, his wife Carole Warzeka, and infant daughter Roni Warzeka. Survivors are son Matt (Peri) , daughter Pam (Steve), grandchildren, Danielle, Sarah, Katie, Megan, Mark and Cassie; great-grandchildren Eliana, Abe and Delilah. There will be a memorial service at the Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on July 10, 2017.

Pam, Matt & Family,

I wish I had the words to say how sorry I am for your loss. What a beautiful, larger than life presence he had. As I look at his picture I can hear his booming laugh and it makes me smile through the tears. Much love to you all.
