Scott Agenbroad Obituary
3/19/1951-6/22/2018
Scott Lamarr Agenbroad passed away at his home in Wasilla, Alaska at the age of 67. He was born in Nampa, Idaho to Clifford and Barbara Agenbroad. Scott graduated from Washington State University, served as a C-141 pilot in the Air Force and then became a commercial airline pilot. He enjoyed his Alaskan way of life, hunting and fishing with friends. Scott is survived by his mother Barbara Borders, his brother Brad, sister Dana and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lt. Col. Clifford James Agenbroad and his older brother Chris. Scott was buried beside his father at Kohlerlawn Cemetery in Nampa.

I had many fun times with Scott and flew many flights with him. I also drove from Phoenix to Wasilla with him and survived! We had many laughs and good times. He is missed...

I have known Scott since 1972. He called days before he died. He taught me many things: You never know the last time you will speak with someone-make each conversation a good one; It's not how much you make, it's what you spend; there's no Javelina (or bears or elk...) in Arizona (Alaska, Montana...) (after a recent hunting trip); how to shoot a nine millimeter; the wonder of the woods; how to sit without talking in a bear stand (difficult); woodpeckers must always be shot even if you are on the phone; consistent integrity; how to view the stock market; how much tenderness can exist in someone who can seem brusque; the importance of being who you really want to be no matter what anyone else thinks. Always climb your mountain-don't stop until you get to the top. Some people will always be part of you. He is missed by many because he was a good friend and an amazing person.
