Sheila Lincoln Obituary
Sheila Lincoln
1947 ~ 2018
Sheila Lincoln passed away peacefully on September 9, 2018, with her children by her side. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada to Helen and Harry Hagar on February 5, 1947. She grew up there, always laughing with her brothers and cousins and graduated from Carlton University with a degree in Sociology in 1969.
Sheila moved to Idaho after marrying Bob Lincoln in June of 1969. They eventually settled in Eagle, Idaho, where she proceeded to raise 3 children and manage a menagerie of farm animals, family pets, occasional stray neighbor kids, and lots of friends and family. Being a mom was her greatest accomplishment until the arrival of her 5 grandchildren, at which time they took over the title of her favorite humans on the planet. She worked in nursing home administration for many years, work which she dearly loved and found much fulfillment in. She was well loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Sheila is survived by Bob Lincoln; her son, Michael Lincoln and his children: Reese, Jackson and Caleb; daughter, Shannon Lincoln and her husband, Kacey Montgomery, and their children: Cora and Jesse; brother, Gordon (Sheilagh) Hagar of Ottawa, Ontario, as well as countless cherished friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Hagar and her beloved son, Ryan.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 811 South Latah St. in Boise with a reception following. Remembrances may be left for the family on Sheila's webpage at www.AccentFuneral.com. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a worthy cause, buy someone a coffee, hold a door, or offer a hand. The world can be a difficult place, please choose compassion and kindness today in her memory.
