Clifford Filler Obituary

Clif was born in Harvey, North Dakota. He was a proud veteran of WW II. He loved his family and his country, but most of all, He loved God.
Shortly after serving in WW II, he settled in California. For most of his career, he, along with his brother, owned a shoe store in Sacramento. He loved telling stories about his famous clients, including Max Baer and Governor Ronald Reagan!
He married his first wife, Arta, and had 3 children: Janice, Patti and Darrell. Janice died shortly after birth, but he continued to treasure her in his heart, knowing that he would be with her again. And, now he is!
In 1966, he married Jane, and they had 49 great years together. He was a loving father to her children, Tim, Bev and Greg. Jane and Clif were avid travelers, handing out Bibles and pamphlets throughout the world. In 2000, they moved to Meridian and became faithful members of Valley Shepherd Nazarene Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Patti, Darrell, Tim and Greg; grandchildren, Joel, Jacob, Ryan, Kristen, Eli, Abraham, Ashleigh, and Charles; and 11 great grandchildren.
The family is holding a private burial service and planning a Jubilation get together in the summer for family and friends.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Clif's memorial webpage at www.summersfuneral.com.
