Robert K. Olinger
1942 ~ 2017
Robert K. Olinger "Oly", died October 15, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at the age of 75. Oly was born May 2, 1942 in Delta, Colorado, the son of Ralph and Evabelle (Tirrey) Olinger.
When he was 18 years old, he enlisted in the Army and served in the 101st Airborne "Screamin Eagles" in Germany from 1959 to 1963. After serving in the Army, he worked for Syms/York and later worked at St. Luke's Hospital where he worked for many years , mainly in construction/maintenance. He will be dearly missed.
Oly is survived by his wife, Barbara Olinger, two daughters, Renee and Rebecca (Shawn); and grandchildren, Calli, Matthew, Cameron (Brittni), Jacob, Masen, Gage and great grandchildren Cade and Saryn He is preceded in death by his father and mother; and son, Richard "Rick" Olinger.
