Raised in East Greenville, he worked on the Carl Princehorn Dairy Farm. He attended East Greenville School and graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1954. After retirement, he worked at Massillon's library. Dean played guitar, had a good sense of humor, and enjoyed reading and many genres of music. He loved the Lord and his family, and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Nancy (Pett) Princehorn; and his brother, Duane Princehorn. He is survived by his children: Elizabeth (Steve) Hargrave, Kevin (Pam) Princehorn, Timothy Princehorn, Daniel Princehorn, and step-daughter, Leann (Jim) Yakely; grandchildren: Emma, Alexandra, Olivia, Tom, Noah, Ava, and Aiden; and his sister-in-law, Betty Princehorn and her children. A special thanks to Dawn Princehorn for her devotion to our family.
