Well-known in the neighborhood as "Grandma Jo", she was such a joy to be around. We could always count on a smile, the biggest hug, and a treat from her freezer we saw her. I remember well how her and Junior would be in their back yard with their dogs and every time they saw us playing in the yard next door, they would pull apples from their trees and meet us at the fence for a wonderful chat and a quick hug. Thank you Grandma Jo and Junior for such wonderful childhood memories!!

Joanne was one of the first neighbors I met when our family moved to the neighborhood sixty years ago. One morning I found a purse with the school lunch money of either Bonnie, Cathy or Marty. Joanne came to retrieve it. She was vivacious with an upbeat personality. She liked wearing flip flops. Joanne was wonderful. A life well lived. Eleanor Olinger

Im so sorry for your loss. I loved Joannie. She babysat me as a child and visiting with her was always so special. She had a beautiful way of making each child in the neighborhood feel special. May you find comfort in your cherished memories.

Dear Lew, Your dear Joanne was a joy to know and celebrate life with even for a short time. When we have another music program at Sanctuary we will see her in our minds eye singing, dancing, laughing. Blessings to you in this time of loss. Phyllis and Jack Milligan
