Leonard "Lenny" Arnold 1941-2018

76, of Fredericktown, Ohio formerly of Canton passed away on May 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Leonard was born in Canton, Ohio on July 15, 1941. He attended North Canton Hoover High School and served in the US Navy from 1960-1964. Lenny was a salesman for Society Corp. in Muncie, Ind., starting in 1970 he worked as an Insurance Agent for several Insurance Companies, ultimately he was District Manager for United Insurance Co. in both Cleveland and Columbus. In 1992 he started Lenny's Pizza in Belleville, Ohio and in 1993 in Mansfield, Ohio and finally retired in 2008. He was a member of the American Legion Post #44, was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, writing Poetry, gardening and canning his own vegetables.

Preceded in death by his father, Frank Arnold; mother, Edna Stertzbach and sister, Shirley Bair. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Angie Arnold; son, Leonard "Lenny" (Kristin) Arnold; grandchildren, Amber Burton, Chloe Arnold, Casen Goldsmith, Dane Arnold, Madelynn Goldsmith and Marley Arnold; great grandson, Auden; sisters, Debbie (Terry) Leach and Susan (Rick) Polka; many many nieces and nephews; feline friends, Shadow and Lily.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Friday May 18, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON CHAPEL 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. on Friday prior to the service. Military honors and inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday May 25, 2018 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
