Aunt Peg........what a lady. She always told you what she thought. When we were kids, I remember going to her house in the summer. I always had to "finish my plate", and not touch any of Uncle Paul's stuff in the office. At my mom's funeral, Uncle Paul told me he married the "gem" of the family. I told him he got one of the gems. In my opinion, there were 4 real "gems" in that family (that I had the opportunity to know) that came from the Karl & Azalia mines. Mirian, Mark, Tim, and Beth (and kids).....you have my thoughts & prayers during this time of grief. Aunt Peg, you put up a great fight to stay with your family, but now you can help to prepare a place for them in your forever home. Love you!

Words can never express the sorrow I felt this morning when I opened the Sunday paper. Peg and I met three years ago at McCrea rehab facility and spent 6 weeks in therapy together. We immediately bonded beyond simple friends. She was a constant reminder of my grandmother who I adored. There was about 18 years difference in our age but we had so many common experiences and likes. Eventually we had all our meal together in the bistro ment for visitors. That eventually turned into a group of about six and not only did we eat but put 1000 piece puzzles together, learned the correct way to play dominos, phase 10 and chew the fat as the old saying goes. We were there over the Christmas holidays we sang carols with a family of Amish that came ever Friday to visit one of our group. They were more like a choir and they took requests also.I just remember holding Pegs hand and we were in tears when we had to stop.I wll always remember Pegs since of humor, her determination and her faith and love of family. RIP Peg I will always consider you God's gift to me. My sincere sympathy to her family. Martha

She was an amazing woman and loved each and every family member even when it wasn't an eye to eye ordeal. I'm so glad and appreciative that she excepted us as her family, we have so many wonderful memories sitting around playing games, cooking out, or even just chatting around the table... I will miss that spunky lady although I'm glad she's not suffering inside or out anymore and she's with Paul again.
Till we meet again "mom" I will cherish every memory we have had, you are already deeply missed. Fly high my Angel and protect us all down her on earth.
Beth Straight I pray for comfort for you, i know mom was your best friend and it takes an amazing person to care for a loved one even when they don't always see eye to eye I know she appreciated everything you done for her over the years, cherish each and every moment you got with her, I know you will.
I'm always here for you any time any day.
