1919 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
Neal A. Tabellion

of North Lawrence, following a full and blessed life, passed away peacefully this past Thursday evening, June 7, 2018, at the age of 98. Born in Massillon, August 23, 1919, a son to the late Clarence W. and Eugenia E. (Elsch) Tabellion, Neal graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1927. A humble veteran, he served honorably in the south Pacific with the US Army during World War II and participated in the liberation of the Philippines. An able mechanic, a skilled problem solver and good at working with his hands, Neal was self-employed as Tabellion's Pump Service – installing and repairing industrial and residential pumps and equipment. A member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church, he also enjoyed several pastimes and social memberships as well as being a charter member of the Tuslaw Lions Club.

Predeceased by his parents; his wife, Evelyn (Roop) Tabellion; daughter, Becky Tabellion and his brothers, William, Donald "Corky" and Dale Tabellion; Neal is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Beryl) Davis, of Malvern and sons, James (Shirley) Tabellion, of Milan, Ohio and Kenneth Tabellion, of North Lawrence. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his brothers, Louis (Laura) and Charles (Marie) Tabellion, all of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will join with Fr. Edward Gretchko and Fr. Thomas Cebula to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive condolences Friday morning before mass, from 9:00 – 10:40 at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.
