Alma Whittemore Obituary
Whittemore
age 84, passed away Dec. 24, 2012. She is preceded in death by her mother, Isabel De Melendez Huber; father, Ferdinand Huber; husband, John Francis Whittemore; and brother, Mike Huber. She is survived by her son, John Francis Whittemore III; and her grandchild, Alexandra Elizabeth Whittemore. Mrs. Whittemore was a long time resident of Greenwich, Conn. and Canton, Ohio and more recently of Aiken, S.C. Mrs. Whittemore was a graduate of Cornell University. In Canton, Ohio she was a member of The College Club and The Historical Society of Early American Decoration where she specialized and was known for her stenciled tin, gold leaf decoration and Victorian painting. She retired from The Timpkin Company. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Memorials can be made to the Public Broadcasting System.
