Thomas Rohr Obituary
Age 72, of Canton, passed away Sunday morning, July 26, 2015, in Aultman Hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Massillon, the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Gresser) Rohr. Tom was retired and part owner of Rohr and Son's Landscaping. He graduated from Jackson High School and served his country in the US Navy. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Sons of Herman. A very outgoing person, he enjoyed traveling with his family, playing Euchre and fishing with his friends. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary in 2008.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Kelvin) Pelfrey of Florence, Ky.; sister, Betsy (Dan) Rooney of Canton; brothers, Harold (Sally) Rohr of Massillon, Kenny (Sandy) Rohr of Canton, Adam Rohr of Canton, Tim (Connie) Rohr of Massillon; brother-in-law, Ron (Grey) Yohn of Canton; granddaughter, Zoie Rohr of Florence, Ky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St Joseph Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. in the Williams Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to a charity of your choice. Very sorry to hear bout the passing of your dad. I always remember him with a smile on his face and a friendly word. I also remember that he was an extremely hard worker and the house and yard reflected his work ethic. I don't think any yard in the neighborhood could compare to the Rohr yard. He seemed like a great dad, a hard worker and very nice person. I am sure he will be truly missed.

Uncle Tom always seemed to have a smile on his face when you saw him. I always seemed to run in to him at the Fair or see him at a basketball game at Central or eating at china buffet. I am sure he is rejoicing with Jesus and reunited with Rosemary. i am sure you have 2 guardian angels watching over you from heaven charlotte. You are in my thoughts and prayers
