Ronald Gary Shue Sr.
August 20, 1947 - April 28, 2021
Ronald Gary Shue Sr., 73, beloved husband of Kathy B. Shue, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born Aug. 20, 1947, in Concord, he was a son of the late Melvin Thomas Shue and the late Vera Davis Shue. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Fort Roofing and Sheet Metal Works.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years; three children, Ronald Shue Jr., Ryan Shue (Kim), and Shawn Greenwood all of Sumter, S.C.; four grandchildren, Dylan Ryan Shue, Kelsey Kellenbenz, Caitlyn Greenwood, and Madison Greenwood; a great-grandchild, Rimmi Kellenbenz; two sisters, Sylvia Lewis (Rick) of Harrisburg, and Sharon Hatley of Concord; and brother, Mike Shue (Gayle) of York.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Shue and Steve Shue; and sister, Sandra Munson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 2, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
