C. Quick Obituary

Clifford Rolland "Rolly" Quick, 84, passed away February 16, 2021.
A loving father, husband and grandpa, Rolly was born October 2, 1936 in Montrose, PA, to Warren and Dorothy Quick and was raised in Pennsylvania, where he attended Montrose High School and was a baseball, basketball and tennis standout.
Rolly received his B.S. Degree in Business Education at Bloomsburg State Teachers College, where he also played baseball. Upon graduation he was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the United States Marine Corps and proceeded to Pensacola for flight training, receiving his Navy Wings of Gold in May of 1961. He served with Marine Helicopter squadrons HMM-264 and HMM-162 both on land and on aircraft carriers.
Upon completion of his active duty, Rolly flew for three years in a Marine Corps Reserve squadron at Naval Air Station Willow Grove, PA, while joining Bendix Corp as a sales engineer for a year, and then embarking on a 28-year career in various marketing management positions with Link Flight Simulation Division in Binghamton, NY, including a three-year assignment in Sussex, England, at the Link-Miles Simulation Operation.
Rolly enjoyed a second career as a residential mortgage loan officer in the North Texas area and upon retirement in 2003, was a volunteer usher at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, and a volunteer instructor in the computer education program at Grapevine Senior Activities Center.
Rolly is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joycelyn S. Quick, daughters Kerry Quick and Susan Quick Nilsen (Eric), sons Scott Quick (fiancé Tammy) and Andrew Quick (Tracy), son-in-law Robert "Bo" Pinkley, sister Lura Quick Walsh, 12 grandchildren, a niece, and 2 nephews. Rolly was preceded in death by his daughter Katherine Quick Pinkley.
