Not sure what to say?

Gram- I don’t know where to begin. My life is better for having met you and Pop. I believe with all my heart that you both were two of the finest people that I have ever known. You immediately made me feel at home when Amy and I visited. I will never forget you and you now have a special place in my heart. I love both you and Pop very much and I promise you that I will take care of Amy. Your memory will live on in our family. I love you Gram - “John-boy” aka “Vince”

Gram,
My brain still isn’t processing that you are gone. I have a feeling of emptiness in my soul that I have never felt before. I’m sure in time it will ease and I will look forward to seeing you again one day. Thank you for being my best friend in life. Thank you for supporting me and loving me with such fierce devotion. You are a huge part of who I am today.
I am comforted that you are back with Pop where you belong and I know that you will always be with me. I will always strive to live in a giving, loving, kind spirit just as you always did, even when people don’t deserve it. I promise to always take time to laugh. I promise to always make sure that no one leaves my home empty handed or hungry. I will love you always. Please hug Pop for me and tell him we miss him. See you later.

Gram - it was later in life that I realized that just how much you and Pop provided for me. Times were sometimes tough for me when I was young, but you were always there to make a meal, talk about things, or slip me $20 to "have fun". I lived with you more than anyone else growing up, and you guided me through life. I'll always miss your meals, your discussions of family, and most of all, your love for my family. As years passed by, you treated my own family the same as you treated me, with love and caring for each one as if they were your own. I am glad that each one of my children got to be held by you and feel how much "Gram's" love was special.
