Salem Kirban Obituary
Survived by his wife of 63?years, Mary, his 5 children and their spouses; Dennis and Eileen Kirban, Doreen and Wes Frick, Diane and Dr. Osborne Buchanan, Duane Kirban, and Dawn and Ron Adkins, 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and brother Lafayette Kirban, and many earthly angel caregivers.
He is a graduate of Girard College and Temple University and served in the US Navy (1944-1945) on the ship USS Polana.
Salem Kirban is the author of over 50 books on Bible prophecy and health. After covering Vietnam as a war correspondent in 1967, he wrote his first book "Goodbye Mr. President." His best sellers include, Guide to Survival, 666, 1000, Your Last Goodbye, Revelation Visualized, and The Salem Kirban Reference Bible. He has spoken in over 400 churches nationwide. He founded Second Coming ministries in 1970, reaching souls throughout the world.
They have lived most of their life in Huntingdon Valley, Montrose, Loon Lake, Wash. and Lancaster.
A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Saturday, May 22 at the Oaks Family Restaurant, 6705 Route 611, Pipersville, at 1:30 pm.
Interment will be in the Forest Center Cemetery, Valley, Wash.

I developed a fascination for endtime prophecy because of my dad's interest in it. I found myself amazed over the end time charts drawn up by Mr. Salem. I've read the book, Dispensational Truth by Darby. Wow, what an appealing God we have. He's sooooofacinationg and interesting. I started to read the Bible when I was 16. I'll be 65 in Nov. '24. I'm not an avid reader. I fell in love with Salem's booklet on the rose red city of Petra. I was enthralled by his artful description. How I'd love to go there someday!

I met Bro. Salem Kirban and Mrs Kirban in a very usual way at the Post Office in Mesquite, TX. He had just finished preaching a revival meeting and was headed out of town. There were driving a big town car and I thought they were needing driving directions. I told them I was a baptist preacher and if they needed help I would be glad any way I could. They both said no help needed but loaded me up with some books on prophecy and dieting and were on their way. I would like to speak with someone in the family.

Your father made a huge impact (666 and 1000) to a 12 year old kid in 1973 who developed a huge interest in prophecy! Thank you. I'm fillithe pulpit at City On A Hill Church, Indian River MI on September 10 and will honor your father's legacy!! ...as I discuss world affairs and a Biblical world view. I had the pleasure of reaching out to Salem years ago before he passed and he responded!
