J. French Obituary

J. Mark French

Age 61, a resident of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at I.U. Methodist Hospital.

He was born December 30, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Margaret (Kerfoot) French.

Mark graduated from General Motors Institute, and worked as an engineer for GE in Cincinnati. He previously worked at Allison Gas Turbine and Rolls Royce. Mark was an active member of Acton United Methodist Church. He loved the Indy 500 and attended for over forty years.

He is survived by his wife of over thirty years, Susan (Burton) French, Indianapolis, daughters: Julie French, Athens, Ohio; Becky French, Indianapolis, sister, Mary Squires, Windfall, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m., April 11, 2013 at Acton United Methodist Church, 5650 Senour Rd. Indianapolis, Ind. 46239. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m., April 12, 2013 at the church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to Acton United Methodist Church.

Susan, Julie and Becky, Mark and I worked together for several years at Allison. I remember a trip to Canada with Mark and how much my son and I enjoyed him. I'm so sorry this happened.
